At the time they filmed 28 Up, Debbie and I were settling down as a family with two young kids and planning to run a pub. We eventually took on the Rotherfield Arms Pub in Islington for a short time, but it wasn't really our cup of tea in the end, so I went back to driving and bought my own cab.
