At this time, Hackney Wick greyhound stadium was closed and so many happy memories went with it: the trainers, punters and the bookies. Also hung up my football boots, playing the last match at Hackney Marshes alongside my son Nicky. I still do a bit of acting on the side and have had small roles in The Bill and Eastenders, which was a wonderful experience.
